The VH Martech consultant will focus on managing the marketing-technology strategy & activation with an end goal of improving performance across media-activation platforms (META, Tiktok, Google, Bing, Yandex, email and other programmatic ads). The RCA would entail appraisal of current practices, relevant to different elements of routine immunization programme. ![]() The work will also entail aligning and synchronizing the tools and guidelines, already available for assessing other elements relevant to EPI programme e.g., Coverage and Equity Analysis, Effective Vaccine Management (EVM) and Vaccine wastage studies, gender related analyses, KAP assessment etc The purpose of developing this roster is to establish a pool of pre-screened consultants that can be deployed in short time to countries, during the post VPD-outbreak period for planning and implementing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in the countries, during the Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) outbreak. ![]() VPD outbreaks can be used an opportunity to strengthen health systems including routine immunization as these outbreaks highlight the communities and/or geographic areas that lack access to routine immunization services and can be markers of inequity in health service delivery. This leads to a vicious cycle of subsequent VPD outbreaks that further damages the already overstretched health system including the routine immunization programme. The VPD outbreak is usually managed by vaccination of the affected population subgroups and no/inadequate efforts are made to identify the underlying factors, responsible for the outbreak. UNICEF seeks a Geospatial Consultant who will facilitate technical analysis in support of the equity analysis by the HealthConnekt Country Engagement, Equity Analysis, and Investment Cases consultant. The program will collaborate with regional and global efforts and supplement government or donor health initiatives. HealthConnekt will support the adoption of digital tools, establish necessary frameworks, and monitor service contracts, ensuring fair access to digital health services. It aims to enhance health sector funding, develop financing methods, drive investments, and craft connectivity solutions. The initiative will upgrade health facility lists, integrate connectivity data, utilize new technologies, and scrutinize infrastructure and budgets. HealthConnekt Global will tackle the digital healthcare divide, improving service and data quality, and addressing connectivity for marginalized areas. Leveraging this momentum, UNICEF will initiate "HealthConnekt" to expand internet access to health facilities, particularly primary healthcare, in line with Africa CDC's digital goals. UNICEF and ITU's Giga project aimed to connect every school to the internet, successfully engaging in 19 countries, mapping 2 million schools, and connecting over 5,600 schools, aiding 2.1 million students.
